The Mortgage Bankers reported a 3% increase in home purchase mortgage applications for the month of September. Freddie Mac reported mortgage rates continued to increase with 30-year rates at 3.47% and 15-year rates at 2.76%. The latest research from Ten-X showed the areas that were leading in the recovery were the same areas hit hardest by the recession ten years prior.
