Bruce Norris is joined this week by Robert Dietz.  Robert has a PhD and is Chief Economist for the National Association of Home Builders. His responsibilities include housing market analysis, forecasting and industry surveys, and housing policy research. Prior to joining NAHB in 2005, Robert worked as an economist for the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation. He has testified before Congress on housing, economic, and tax issues. He is a leading expert on home construction, analysis and trends.

In this segment, Bruce and Robert will discuss the HMI Index, where it stood in 2005 prior to the crash, the cycle we have had after the Great Recession, regulatory burdens associated with lot development and home construction for single-family homes, where builders are moving to for new construction, and much more, all on the real estate radio show.
