“California sales tumbled 29% after the Fed acted, and the drop was 22% nationwide.”

MortgagePoint – Fannie Mae Leverages AI to Strengthen Mortgage Fraud Prevention (05-28-25)

Fannie Mae has announced a partnership with artificial intelligence (AI) platform Palantir to launch a Crime Detection Unit in an effort to enhance the GSE’s fraud detection capabilities. The partnership is projected to save the U.S. housing market millions in future fraud losses. 

Redfin News  – “Investor Purchases of Condos Fall to Lowest Level in 10 Years, Aside From Start of Pandemic”(05-28-25)

“U.S. real estate investors purchased 46,726 homes in the first quarter, up 2% year over year. Investor purchases have been relatively stable for the last year, increasing or decreasing by 4% or less each quarter.”
